The French-American Chamber of Commerce recognized Case Western Reserve University’s new French for Professional Skills Center with a 2019 “Innovation without Borders” award for outstanding project development in French-American markets.
Fabienne Pizot-Haymore, director of the French for Professional Skills Center, accepted the award at a ceremony held at the French-American Chamber of Commerce at Public Square in the presence of French Consul General Guillaume Lacroix.
Case Western Reserve’s new center housed within the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures is the only center in the nation to offer all three diplomas in French professional skills (business, medical and diplomacy). CWRU also is the only institution in the United States to offer the course FRCH 309: French for Diplomacy.
