Join the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning’s student Executive Council for a CWRUinCLE excursion to Station Hope, which is “a jubilant community event celebrating Cleveland’s social justice history and exploring contemporary struggles for freedom and equity.”
The excursion will be Saturday, May 4, from 6:45 to 9 p.m. on the grounds of Cleveland’s first authenticated Underground Railroad site, St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Attendees will join more than 250 artists as they envision, interrogate and seek out hope. In addition to the opportunity to explore the historic property, students can view works of theater, music, storytelling and dance that are “inspired by the most important issues of our time.”
The event is free an open to the public. CCEL will provide transportation to students who RSVP through the CampusGroups page.
