The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) will host a free event to take a group of students to see the Accelerate Civic Innovators pitch competition at the Global Center for Health Innovation in downtown Cleveland.
The event is public transit accessible and will take place on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6-9 p.m (including transportation time). Attendees will depart from the Thwing Atrium at 6 p.m.
Students who attend the event will have a chance to hear community members present their civic innovation ideas for changes they would like to see in Cleveland and vote for a winner. The trip is part of CWRUinCLE, a series of events hosted by CCEL that intend to explore Cleveland’s assets.
Limited spots are available. Students can register for the event here.
