On Tuesday, April 5, Case Western Reserve University will celebrate its 10th annual Day of Giving— a one-day effort to inspire students, alumni, friends, faculty and staff to give back to the areas of the university most meaningful to them.
Day of Giving empowers the entire Case Western Reserve University community to go #CWRUALLinTogether in support of CWRU students’ academic success through programmatic advancement, scholarships, research, emergency student funds, COVID-19-related initiatives and more.
How can you go #CWRUALLinTogether on this Day of Giving?
The Day of Giving is a campaign that works only through the collective support of the campus community. The success of this campaign relies on volunteer advocates who build excitement and awareness to make a difference. Here are several ways to support #CWRUALLinTogether Day of Giving:
- Create a GiveCampus account: Head to the campaign website to login or create an account. If you prefer, it will allow you to create an account using your Facebook login.
- Consider your own gift: You can make your own gift early. It’s much easier to ask your friends and family to join you in making a gift when you’ve already made one yourself.
- Turn that gift into a match (or challenge): Your gift can be leveraged to encourage others to join you. When you visit the campaign page, you will find links to make a match or challenge—simply follow the step-by-step instructions. (Consider restricting your match or challenge by your class year for some friendly competition).
- Share, share, share! Another great way to spread the word is by spreading your message on social media. Use the built-in Facebook and Twitter buttons to share this campaign with your family and friends and tell them why you’ve gone #CWRUALLinTogether.
- Tell your story: Visit the Advocacy Dashboard, located at the bottom of the campaign page, to create a quick 15–30 second personal plea video. Tell your community why you’re excited about the campaign and why others should get involved. Keep it quick, casual and fun.
