CWRU, UH receive $12.7 million in HIV/AIDS funding

CWRU, UH gets nearly $13 million for HIV/AIDS research; additional $9 million from NIH possible

The Plain Dealer: Case Western Reserve and University Hospitals Case Medical Center received $12.7 million  to continue research on the joint HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. “This award will not only allow us to continue our studies of treatment strategies, [it] assures we can maintain the outstanding team that has made all this success possible,” said Benigno Rodriguez, co-principal investigator and associate professor of medicine.
