For the first time, three student teams from Case Western Reserve University swept the Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG) annual M&A/Private Equity competition.
The competition involves pitching an investment banking assignment to represent a company in its evaluation of an important strategic dilemma. This year’s case featured an underperforming public company with two disparate divisions. The teams’ solutions were pitched to experts.
The three winning teams were invited to attend a regional networking event, the Deal Maker Awards.
This year, teams were formed in the BAFI 450/MSFI 490: M&A and Projects in Corporate Finance course. The winning student teams are listed below.
