CWRU staff members write about workplace wellness for Public Health Nursing

Three Case Western Reserve University staff members and an alumna wrote a piece on workplace wellness for Public Health Nursing.

Authors on the piece were:

  • Elizabeth R. Click, medical director and assistant professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing;
  • Janetta M. Hammock, diversity program manager in the Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity;
  • Brinn Omabegho, department manager and assistant to the chairman in the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology; and
  • Ann Kowal Smith (LAW ’86; GRS ’10, management), executive director of Books@Work.

Their piece, titled “Developing community relationships to enhance well-being in a worksite wellness program,” explained the effectiveness of three programs offered at CWRU through the employee wellness program that have been implemented to strengthen university community well-being.

The authors discuss the newer area of worksite wellness and the positive impact made when relationships are forged through community programs.
