CWRU representatives share insights on Outreach, Assessment, Resource, and Response Program with Ohio State

Members of the Division of Public Safety and University Health and Counseling Services recently spent a day with The Ohio State University’s Chief Deputy Alan Horujko  to discuss the OARR Program (Outreach, Assessment, Resource, and Response).

Through this program, a two-person crisis intervention-trained team of a licensed clinician and a police officer respond to mental health-related calls.

Ohio State hopes to launch a sister program to serve its growing campus.
