CWRU recognized for voter participation in 2020 presidential election

Case Western Reserve University’s Center for Civic Engagement and Learning (CCEL) was recognized as a 2021 gold seal award winner in the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge at its virtual awards ceremony Nov. 8. The award is in recognition of the university’s voter participation rate in the 2020 presidential election, and is presented to campuses who achieve a participation rate between 70 and 79%.

Established in 2016, the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) is a national, nonpartisan initiative of Civic Nation, honoring higher education institutions, educators and students who increased student voter engagement during elections. This is CCEL’s first year participating in ALL IN.
