CWRU professors discussed the possibility of robots made to pick fruit

Robots may soon have a place in fruit orchards

Lifewire:  Biology Professor Hillel Chiel from the College of Arts and Sciences and Roger Quinn, the Arthur P. Armington Professor of Engineering and director of the Biorobotics Complex at Case School of Engineering, talked about the challenges of building a robot with enough sensitivity to be able to successfully pick fruit without damaging or crushing it.
