CWRU portal to Lynda.com to be unavailable Aug. 8 during site’s transition to LinkedIn Learning

The Case Western Reserve University portal to Lynda.com will be unavailable during its transition to LinkedIn Learning Thursday, Aug. 8. Registered users will receive a welcome email from LinkedIn Learning when the site opens. CWRU community members will continue to have the same unlimited access through the university at no additional cost to all content on the upgraded site.

When the site reopens, users will need to register with an existing LinkedIn account or sign up for a new LinkedIn Learning account to use the site. Access is still behind the CWRU Single Sign-On log-in. View instructions for creating a new account (PDF).

Saved content, “my videos” tracking and other key usage/reporting features maintained for individual accounts will remain intact and up-to-date for all current users after the transition is completed. The upgraded site will contain the same content users have always accessed from Lynda.com, wedded to a new interface and employing a new suite of tools from LinkedIn.
