CWRU poll results on eventual GOP nominee are a mix of first two nomination contests

The Case Western Reserve University poll results predicting the eventual Republican presidential nominee played out like a combination of the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary: Of the candidates, Mitt Romney was the overwhelming winner, followed by Ron Paul in second, Rick Santorum in third and Jon Huntsman and Newt Gingrich in a distant fourth and fifth, respectively.

It should be noted that actual second place went to the “I’m indifferent” option; whether these are Democrats, Independents or just undecided Republican voters is unknown.
