CWRU police to offer self-defense class for women on campus

The Case Western Reserve University Police Department will offer a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) class for female faculty, staff and students starting Wednesday, Oct. 5. The class is run by certified RAD instructors and teaches women self-defense strategies and basic self-defense moves.

The class runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 5, 12 and 19, with a voluntary simulation exercise on Oct. 26. For more information or to register, contact Sgt. Jeffrey Daberko at jdd@case.edu. Class size is limited.
