Police department to hold emergency preparedness training Nov. 23

The Case Western Reserve University police department and 121 Fitness will sponsor an ALICE (Alert-Lockdown-Inform-Counter-Evacuation) training program to prepare members of the campus community against active shooters on campus. The training will take place Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Ford Auditorium.

Participants in the class will learn proactive survival strategies that could help save lives in the event of an active shooter situation.

Attendees could receive iTunes gift cards, vouchers for coffee at SAGES Café and a one-month membership at 121 Fitness.
