Case Western Reserve Law Review article judged among best intellectual property scholarship of year

Brenda SimonAn article published by the Case Western Reserve Law Review, “Rules, Standards, and the Reality of Obviousness,” by Brenda M. Simon (65 Case W. Res. L. Rev. 25), has been judged one of the best law review articles related to intellectual property law published within the past year. It has been selected for inclusion in the 2015 edition of the Intellectual Property Law Review, an anthology published annually by Thomson Reuters (West).

Simon is an associate professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She taught as a teaching fellow at Stanford University before going to Thomas Jefferson School of Law and also worked as an associate at Fenwick & West, during which time she argued in front of the 9th and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeal regarding patent and other intellectual property matters. Her article was the first piece that the law review accepted and published for volume 65 (2014–2015).
