CWRU launches updated Alumni Career Network

New platform aims to connect Spartans around the world

Networking doesn’t have to involve awkward silences and tacky name tags, as Case Western Reserve University’s new online Alumni Career Network proves.

Whether you’re a student beginning a job search or an alum planning your next career move, this secure hub can help you fulfill your professional goals in one place.

More than 10,000 people joined the university’s original online networking platform, CWRU Connect—a level of engagement that outgrew the system’s capabilities.

Now, with the new Alumni Career Network, students, alumni or even faculty and staff members can easily access:

  • A listing of university and alumni events,
  • Details on affinity groups, regional alumni chapters and industry-specific communities,
  • Space to ask questions, post updates and start conversations, and
  • A business directory to post about alumni-owned companies.

The network also provides a customizable approach to mentorship. Students can browse the list of registered alumni to search for mentors whose careers align with their aspirations. Users can search by job function, company and industry, and reach out to alumni listed as “willing to help” to connect by online message, video chat and other channels.

Whether you’re a student, alum, or faculty or staff member, register on the Alumni Career Network today to grow your professional circle and engage with the CWRU community. Email alumnirelations@case.edu with any questions about the new platform.
