CWRU purchases new name pronunciation software

Case Western Reserve University recently purchased a product to help students, faculty and staff pronounce student names. This product, NameCoach, provides easy-to-access audio name pronunciations to make every student feel welcome at Case Western Reserve.

NameCoach will allow students to record their name pronunciation and share as they like via a link. It also will be integrated with SIS and Canvas to empower those viewing advising or class rosters to hear recordings so they can have new ways to be more respectful and inclusive in every interaction.

More information will be provided closer to the feature going live, which is anticipated to be before fall semester.
