CWRU in the Community Lunch and Learn Series to continue Feb. 17

The Case Western Reserve University in the Community Lunch and Learn Series will continue Wednesday, Feb. 17, at noon in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Senior Classroom.

Judy Lipton, professor and associate dean for experiential education in the School of Law, will provide an overview of the law school’s civic engagement initiatives, such as the Milton L. Kramer Law Clinic and other free legal services provided to the public.

In addition, the National Youth Sports Program’s director, Dennis Harris, and Carla Curtis, manager of youth outreach programs, will showcase the five-week summer enrichment sports camp offered to youth for the past 45 years at CWRU.

The Lunch and Learn Sessions are held at noon on the third Wednesday of each month, and feature university representatives from all eight schools and various departments who will promote their signature community outreach programs and events.

Pizza and beverages will be provided.
