Join the Office of Energy and Sustainability, the CWRU Bike Committee, and student sustainability ambassadors for a group bike ride to the West Side Market Saturday, April 16.
The goal of this ride is to help participants become more confident urban cyclists through a highly engaging safety demonstration led by a League of American Bicyclists certified instructor. The ride leader will provide safety suggestions before and during the ride, and there will be a chance to ask questions and share tips.
The ride will start at East Bell Commons (11141 East Blvd.) at 9 a.m. and travel to the West Side Market in Ohio City. Riders will be given time to explore Cleveland’s oldest fresh food market, then can take the RTA Rapid Red line back to University Circle or bike back with the group.
Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes, and bring their own bike, helmet, water bottle, bike lock, and a bag to carry snacks or food from West Side Market. Light snacks will be provided.
