CWRU faculty member, student to be featured in public discussion on women and politics

The Community Advisory Board of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Shaker Heights and the Shaker Heights Public Library, will present “It’s Not Your Mother’s Politics II: Finding Your Voice.” This interactive discussion among generations will be held April 26 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Laurel School in Shaker Heights.

The panel will feature Dorothy C. Miller, director of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and clinical associate professor at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, and Meredith Collier, a senior at Case Western Reserve and former editor-in-chief of The Observer.

Other panelists include Sen. Grace Drake, freelance writer Jill Miller Zimon, consultant Elizabeth Hijar and hip-hop activist Mexie Wilson. Linda Lalley, immediate past president of the League of Women Voters of Ohio, will moderate the panel.
