Join the Nov. 9 Meeting of the Faculty Recruitment and Retention Journal Club.
Now in its third year, the Case Western Reserve University Faculty Journal Club aims to increase diversity and inclusion among the university’s faculty.
The second meeting of the fall 2022 semester will take place today (Nov. 9) from noon to 1 p.m. Fey Parrill, professor and chair of the Department of Cognitive Science at the College of Arts and Sciences, will host this session.
Attendees will discuss a reading from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a peer-reviewed journal of the National Academy of Sciences. The piece asks: “Should social scientists be distanced from or engaged with the people they study?”
Register for the meeting and get access to the reading now.
While geared toward faculty, the events are open to everyone at Case Western Reserve.
