Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for a Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series roundtable discussion with Sequoia Bostick and Amalia DeGirolamo, co-founders of Vagabond Comics, June 24 at 1 p.m. via Zoom.
They will discuss their career journeys from being freelance illustrators to founding a comic anthology, entrepreneurship as it relates to art, and how COVID-19 impacts independent publishers and artists.
In 2015, Bostick and DeGirolamo founded Vagabond Comics, an all-ages, independently published comic anthology based in Cleveland. Vagabond Comics provides a welcoming platform for content creators of a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. Bostick and DeGirolamo both graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2014.
Jill Cefalo-Sanders, who is pursuing her BFA in animation at the Cleveland Institute of Art, will facilitate this discussion.

This roundtable and future roundtables will be broadcast through Facebook Live on the CWRU Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship’s Facebook page.
