CWRU Entrepreneurship Speaker Series: “Making Entrepreneurship More Accessible” with Amy Nelson, CEO of Venture for America

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for a Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series roundtable discussion with Amy Nelson, CEO of Venture for America, Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. via Zoom.

While obtaining her MBA at the Stern School of Business, Nelson helped B Lab launch B Analytics, a leading data platform for impact investors. In 2013, she joined Venture for America and became its CEO in 2017. Venture for America is a two-year fellowship program for recent college graduates to learn entrepreneurship skills and work full-time at a start-up.

During this event, Nelson will discuss her career journey, her experience in developing young entrepreneurs at Venture for America and how to make entrepreneurship more accessible for all.

CWRU student Megan Nellis, who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, will facilitate the conversation.
