CWRU Entrepreneurship Speaker Series: Elizabeth Almeida, owner of Fat Moon Mushroom Farm

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for a Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series roundtable discussion with Elizabeth Almeida, owner of Fat Moon Mushroom Farm, July 7 at noon ET via Zoom.

Almeida has been devoted to food, farming, family and community throughout her life. She grew up on a cattle farm, worked her first job for a caterer and worked in a food science research lab in college. She started Fat Moon Farm in 2016 after looking for a crop that didn’t require much sunlight or land. Almeida earned her MBA at CWRU.
She will discuss starting and running an organic mushroom farm and how she lives out her values of justice via the farm.
