CWRU Entrepreneurship Speaker Series: “Cybersecurity” with Chris Young, former CEO of McAfee

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for a Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series roundtable discussion with Chris Young, former CEO of McAfee, Aug. 12 at 1 p.m. via Zoom.

He will discuss his career journey, from earning his MBA at Harvard Business School to leading the charge to spin off McAfee from Intel. Other topics will include his experience with entrepreneurship and the future of cybersecurity now that our lives are online.

Young is a member of the Board of Directors for American Express and Snapchat Inc. He served as the CEO of McAfee, a global computer security software company, from 2017 to 2020. In 2014, he was at Intel Security Group as senior vice president and general manager and later led the initiative to spin out McAfee from Intel. Young serves as a member of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Cyveillance, which he helped to build to over 100 employees and several million in revenue in three years.
