CWRU Entrepreneurship Speaker Series: “A Scientist and an Entrepreneur—Some Lessons Learned” with Al Green, former CEO of Kent Displays

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for a Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series roundtable discussion with Al Green, former CEO of Kent Displays, Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. via Zoom.

He will discuss his experience serving as the CEO of Kent Displays, where he guided the organization’s transformation from a research-focused licensing company to a consumer product development, manufacturing and marketing powerhouse. Other topics will include large company dynamics and more.

Green is the founder and CEO of AMG Consulting Group, which works with organizations going through transformative change. Green joined Kent Displays, a global leader of a unique eWriter display technology and maker of the Boogie Board, as its CEO in 2007. He served as CEO until the end of 2018 and is now an advisor to the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Kent Displays, he was the vice president and manager of the Applied Sciences Division at Science Applications International Corporation, a Fortune 500 technology integrator. Green is a member of the Board of Directors for JumpStart Inc. and Team NEO and serves on the Business Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Erol Balkovic, who is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics and computer science, will facilitate the discussion.
