The Case Western Reserve University chapter of Delta Tau Delta is hosting a fundraiser for the Black Lives Matter movement. The chapter will match the first $10,000 in donations. The money raised will be split between the Cleveland branch of NAACP, Black Lives Matter organization and the ALCU.
Donate through the GoFundMe page. The group also is accepting donations through Venmo (@dtdzeta).
The chapter aims for the fundraiser to create a tangible impact to the movement and be an actionable part of the change. Much of the group’s fundraising has been through Instagram and Facebook. It also has posted about its stance on recent events and thoughts about fighting police brutality and systemic racism.
