A campuswide symposium on core facilities and shared resources will be held on Tuesday, April 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Linsalata Alumni Center. Registration for the event will open on Tuesday, March 3.
The theme of this year’s symposium is “Stronger Together.” This event will highlight the ways in which the Cores of Facilities and Shared Resources are the foundations for interdisciplinarity and the nexus of team science. Following opening remarks by Provost Ben Vinson III at 8:30 a.m., attendees will have opportunities for networking and discovery through:
- Plenary talks from CWRU faculty from various schools/colleges
- Breakout sessions celebrating how our cores create a continuum of discovery across multiple disciplines, and providing administrative technical assistance about running a Core
- Poster sessions showing the work our facilities make possible
