CWRU community reflects on homecoming weekend

Last weekend, members of the Case Western Reserve University community from all backgrounds came together for the 2018 homecoming celebration. The four days of festivities were well attended, with a record 3,883 registrants. The previous record, set in 2016, was 3,844.

Of those who registered this year, 1,270 were alumni, 944 were families of current students and 644 were students.

Earlier this week, we asked the members of the Case Western Reserve University to name their favorite part of homecoming.

Among their responses were:

  • Soccer games;
  • Parade;
  • WRUW’s Studio-A-Rama; and
  • The Latino Alumni Network events.

One respondent was particularly fond of the Spartan Tailgate, writing: “The tailgate: Getting free food from RHA [Residence Hall Association], painting pumpkins, and getting my face painted by COC [Class Officer Collective] was all super fun!”
