The Custodial Services department has recently updated its academic cleaning schedule as well as its trash policy.
Instead of leaving trash outside of doors on non-trash pickup days, Custodial Services asks the campus community to empty trash into shared/common receptacles in the hallway or breakroom if trash bins require emptying before their scheduled day.
Academic Custodial Services is responsible for cleaning the interiors of all classrooms, lecture halls, theaters, laboratories, libraries, offices, halls, stairs, elevators and public areas, as well as cleaning and restocking building restrooms on a regularly scheduled basis.
Cleaning requests
Cleaning requests should be made to the Customer Service Center by phone at 216.368.2580 or email at customerservice@case.edu. Calls placed after-hours are forwarded to the CWRU public safety dispatch office. Only emergency requests are responded to after-hours.
Special requests
Non-routine cleaning requests, such as carpet shampooing and floor refinishing, and additional manpower for special events should be scheduled as far in advance as possible by contacting the Customer Service Center at 216.368.2580 or customerservice@case.edu.
