The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) Science Cafe is a monthly educational series that gathers together scientists, investigators, trainees, and community members to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at forging new collaborations through common interests in exciting areas of research.
Every month features a new research focus, content expert, fresh perspectives, and a chance to discover uncharted territories in the world of science. Each Science Cafe begins with the content expert discussing their own work and potential areas of collaboration.
The January CTSC Science Cafe will feature Jerry Tribout, research participant recruitment manager with the CTSC. Tribout will talk about guiding research investigators and study teams involved in the design and implementation of clinical research studies about the importance of racial and ethnic diversity in clinical research.
This online session will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, from noon to 1 p.m.
