COVID-19 testing available today for students who participated in protests last week

University Health and Counseling Services is offering testing for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) today (Oct. 5) from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center for students who participated in in-person protests Tuesday, Sept. 29.

While the risk of infection from protests is thought to be low, University Health and Counseling Services will offer the testing to support students and out of an abundance of caution.

No CWRU students were in the Debate Hall Tuesday evening.

Students with symptoms should not come for testing on Monday but instead call 216.368.2450. If you are calling after-hours or on the weekend, you will receive immediate medical advice, and a Health Service staff member will follow up within 24 hours to discuss next steps.
