“COVID-19 and Cardiovascular Health: Managing Patients and Incorporating a Telehealth Framework”

The Ohio Cardiovascular and Diabetes Health Collaborative (Cardi-OH) will host a webinar titled “COVID-19 and Cardiovascular Health: Managing Patients and Incorporating a Telehealth Framework” Wednesday, Nov. 16, from noon to 1 p.m. 

The objectives for this session are to:

  • Identify cardiovascular complications of COVID-19 infection;
  • Screen and treat patients for COVID-19 cardiovascular complications; and
  • Use telehealth with post-COVID patients as a means of managing cardiovascular care.

One continuing medical education credit will be offered at no cost.

Tamanna K. Singh, assistant professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and co-director of the Sports Cardiology Center, will give a keynote address.

The Cardi-OH is a statewide program with investigators across Ohio’s medical schools based within the Center for Clinical Investigation under Community Health Programs at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Founded in 2017, the mission of Cardi-OH is to improve cardiovascular and diabetes health outcomes and eliminate disparities in Ohio’s Medicaid population.
