All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a talk with Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish Thursday, Jan. 29, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 108.
Budish took office Jan. 1. As the highest elected official for Cuyahoga County, he will shape issues in human services, justice and economic development. Since taking office, he has formed a transition advisory group composed of dozens of civic leaders and is meeting with 100 business leaders during his first 100 days on the job.
The event is hosted by Associate Professor David B. Miller, who—as president of South Euclid City Council—is familiar with civic leadership.
One professional development hour is available for students.
