The Spoken English Language Partners will host “Cookies and Culture,” a space for new and returning international students to come and have a conversation about navigating day-to-day American culture, Friday, Sept. 30, from noon to 1 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall, Room 135.
These free monthly events offer a safe space for students to build confidence in conversational skills, meet other international students, and participate in cultural activities with an American student.
This first iteration is aimed at introducing the program to the campus community with a sweet treat, and will be followed up with themed events in following months.
