Who:
- Healthy contact lens wearers (using contacts for at least 5 years)
- In the age group 15-70 years
- European ancestry
- No history of a corneal ulcer from contact lenses
What: brief eye exam, answer one questionnaire, provide blood sample,
collection of your contact lenses and storage case, and cultures of the eye
lids (a gentle swab of the skin near the eyelid)
Where: University Hospitals Eye Institute
How long: 1 Appointment – about 1 hour long
Visit will be compensated
