The Ohio Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing US-322 Monday, May 14. This project will include parts of Mayfield Road and Chester Avenue.
The construction on Mayfield Road will span between East 126th Street and Euclid Avenue, with traffic down to one lane westbound during the project. Eastbound traffic will be detoured from Euclid Avenue to Superior Road to Mayfield Road.
Throughout the project, access to side streets, sidewalks (except on the north side of Mayfield Road adjacent to Centric) and driveways will be maintained.
The Mayfield Road section of the project is expected to last from Monday, May 14, through the end of June.
The Chester Avenue segment of resurfacing is between East 93rd Street and Euclid Avenue. Traffic will be maintained with one lane in both directions, with lanes first shifted to the north side of the roadway for work to take place on the southern half of the road. The expected duration of the Chester section of the project is Monday, May 14, through October.
