Beginning today (Aug. 24), construction will close the westernmost southbound lane of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Ambler Park, between North Park Boulevard and the bridge north of Ambleside Drive. This closure will remain in effect through November 2021.
The construction is part of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District’s Doan Valley Storage Tunnel project.
Through the end of October, the bike path through Ambler Park also will be closed, as crews relocate underground utilities through the park. There will be clearly visible signage to re-route cyclists.
