With the holiday season upon us, the Department of Physical Education and Athletics would like to inform the campus community of the upcoming break hours and projects scheduled for the facilities.
Facility Closures
Adelbert Gym will be closed Monday, Nov. 30, through Sunday, Jan. 3, for painting and re-sealing of the floor.
The Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center indoor courts and track will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Sunday, Jan. 10, for the installation of new flooring and track surfaces.
The majority of open recreation basketball court spaces will be closed for renovations, but some open recreation basketball times in Horsburgh Gym (the varsity competition court within the Veale Center) will be available. To view the times, go to athletics.case.edu/facilities/constructionhours. The schedule also will be posted at the Control Desk in Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.
Certain racquetball courts also will be available to reserve 24 hours in advance for modified badminton and volleyball games.

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours (Veale and Wyant)
- Wednesday, Nov 25: Open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov, 26, to Sunday, Nov. 29: Closed
- Monday, Nov. 30: Resume normal hours of operations (6:30 a.m. to midnight)
Final Exams Hours (Veale and Wyant; Adelbert is closed)
- Monday, Dec. 7, to Friday, Dec. 11: Open 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 12, to Sunday, Dec. 13: Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 14, to Tuesday, Dec. 15: Open 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 16: Open 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Winter Break Hours (Veale, Wyant and Adelbert)
- Thursday, Dec. 17, to Sunday, Jan. 3: Closed
- Monday, Jan. 4, to Friday, Jan. 8: Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 9, to Sunday, Jan. 10: Closed
- Monday, Jan. 11: Resume normal hours of operations (6:30 a.m. to midnight)
