The Constitution Day 2014 Student Committee invites members of the Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland community to this year’s Constitution Day Forum.
The forum—titled “Executive Overreach: The President On His Own?”—will take place today (Wednesday, Sept. 17) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Moot Courtroom at the School of Law.
Professor James P. Pfiffner of George Mason University will discuss the growth of executive and presidential power and their limitations under Article II of the U.S. Constitution. A reception will follow at the School of Law in the Blackacre Lounge.
The forum is sponsored by the Office of the President, the Office of Government and Community Relations, the Department of Political Science, the Center for Policy Studies and School of Law.
