How Congress Spends Your Money: An Inside View of the Congressional Budget

The Department of Political Science will host Colleen Gaydos (CWR ’05), a professional staff member on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Defense, for the annual Careers Colloquium.

Gaydos will give a talk titled “How Congress Spends Your Money: An Inside View of the Congressional Budget” Friday, Sept. 23, at 4:30 p.m. in Clark Hall, Room 206.

Prior to joining the committee in January 2007, Gaydos worked as legislative correspondent on judiciary committee issues for Sen. Mike DeWine (R-Ohio). She also worked as an intern in the office of the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones.

Gaydos received her Bachelor of Arts in political science and sociology from Case Western Reserve University and her Master of Arts in government from Johns Hopkins University.
