This week’s Community Hour brown bag lunch session, “Continuing the Conversation,” will be a continuation of the discussion begun by the common reading book, Justice: What’s the Right Thing to Do? by Michael Sandel. The student organization GELS (Global Ethical Leaders Society) will lead a multiple round table discussion about the ethics of current global issues. Possible issues include the death penalty, Guantanamo Bay and the Defense of Marriage Act, with informed GELS members moderating each small group discussion.
The program is Oct. 28 at 12:30 p.m. in Thwing Center 1914 Lounge and includes lunch from Jimmy John’s.
