The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education and the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship are collaborating to offer a workshop series to help faculty to learn about digital scholarship and incorporate that knowledge into their teaching.
The series is composed of five sessions, with the second session to be held Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library’s Freedman Center on the first floor of the library.
The session is titled “Communicating with Data.”
Attendees will learn strategies to develop their skills in selecting effective visualizations, describing results and discussing overall outcomes. This event is open to everyone; no experience with data or data visualization is required to participate.
A pizza lunch will be provided at the session.
