Combat biases in STEM with allyship program offered by the Mather Center

The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women invites faculty members to apply for STEM Allyship, a program that trains key STEM faculty members to be effective allies. Participants in this program will build a culture that is not only aware of biases, but actively works against them.

Through this initiative, faculty participants will be trained to be trainers for other faculty members, creating a system that is continually expanding and establishing a culture that is rooted in inclusion and equity.

Training will include:

  • A pre-workshop online module (two to three hours); and
  • A four-hour allyship training.

Those who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion and $1,000 in research or professional development funds.

The application deadline has been extended to Friday, April 21. Complete the application.

Those with questions or concerns about the application process can email Erika Howard at exh368@case.edu.
