Join University Health and Counseling Services for a virtual symposium promoting the health and well-being of diverse student populations on college campuses.
“College Mental Health and Well-being: Supporting Equity through Innovation, Responsiveness and Action” will be held Friday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Faculty and staff working with students, as well as students themselves, are encouraged to participate in the event, which will highlight innovative strategies and tools they can use immediately on campus and in the classroom.
This symposium is part of a seed funded initiative, Equity in College Health and Well-being: Jumpstarting CWRU’s Work with the Equity in Mental Health Framework. In collaboration with The Jed Foundation, University Health and Counseling Services is working to promote the health and well-being of students of color with intentional, evidence-based programming and services delivered through a campuswide system of support.
