Leaders should balance team-building and completing tasks, say Case Western Reserve University researchers
The Plain Dealer: CWRU researchers’ study of the brain found that leaders can focus on both task completion and team building. “The balanced leader switches fluidly between focusing on operations and the bottom line at one moment, and fostering a positive work environment and ethical insight the next,” said Anthony Jack, assistant professor of cognitive science, philosophy and psychology.
