Co-lead a Sustained Dialogue group for the spring

The organizing team of Sustained Dialogue is seeking trained moderators to propose dialogue groups for spring 2025.

Those who have previously completed full training in Sustained Dialogue, can select a topic of interest and serve as a co-moderator.

There are two types of groups you can propose:

  • Social or Fun Dialogue Groups: These groups aim to bring the campus community closer together through casual and engaging conversations.
  • Sustained Dialogue Groups: These groups are more formal, intended to bridge challenging divides and address topics that strangers might not otherwise discuss productively.

Interested in potential topics? Reach out to Edwin Mayes and Aysegul Zeren.

Workshops also are available for those wanting to co-moderate small-group dialogues. Co-moderators will receive agenda-planning support, manuals and coaching, with additional guidance from the Sustained Dialogue Institute. The Sustained Dialogue team will work with co-moderators to ensure the process runs smoothly and help troubleshoot as needed.

Those who are interested in becoming a co-moderator for spring or fall semesters can sign up by Dec. 20. Complete the sign-up form.
