Join the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center for “Clinical Trials and the African American Community,” a panel event to learn about clinical trials and how to participate in them. At the event, panelists will dispel the myths around clinical trials and discuss the history of how African Americans have been treated in the name of research in the past.
This panel presentation includes a dialogue with past clinical trial participants and University Hospitals physicians Charles Modlin and Cynthia Owusu of University Hospitals’ Seidman Cancer Center. This event is free and open to the public.
