“The Client as a Mission with a Very Critical Outcome: How to Get That Right—the First Time and Every Time”

Photo of Story Musgrave The School of Dental Medicine will host a free Think Forum with former NASA astronaut Story Musgrave during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.

Musgrave will present “The Client as a Mission with a Very Critical Outcome: How to Get That Right—the First Time and Every Time” Saturday, Oct. 7, at 9 a.m. at the Ford Auditorium in the Allen Memorial Medical Library. There will be a complimentary breakfast available at 8:30 a.m.

Musgrave also is a medical doctor, chemist, mathematician, biophysicist, physiologist and computer scientist. Selected by NASA in 1967, he took part in six space flights.

In his lecture, Musgrave will illustrate lessons and principles that are relevant and applicable to the frontline of customer service and care. Told through a series of dramatic multimedia stories, participants can expect to learn how to treat every customer as an urgent mission with a critical outcome, how to acknowledge, accept and apply the best practices and procedures, and how to maintain vigilance to prevent small deviations and variances from becoming significant fails.
