The Center for Civic Engagement and Learning invites students to learn about the Cleveland Foundation’s summer internship program at an information session Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 165.
At the information session, students can hear from Cleveland Foundation staff and a former intern.
The internship program connects college students entering their junior or senior year, as well as recent graduates in spring 2017, with meaningful, career-related experiences in nonprofit and public sector agencies.
The 11-week program (May 31-Aug. 11) adds value to host agencies by recruiting talented applicants and providing funding to pay interns who conduct and complete important projects within the community.
Students from all majors and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Both as a cohort and as individuals, interns can build their resumes, skills and networks as they invest in Greater Cleveland.
Applications for the program are open through Jan. 23.
